Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of PaperCal, an app operated by PrizmLabs. By downloading, installing, or using PaperCal, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Description of PaperCal
PaperCal lets you create, organize, customize, export, and print calendar content — including your own events, notes, checklists, images, and stickers, and, if you choose to connect it, a read-only view of your Google Calendar and Google Tasks.
User Content
“Your Content” means the calendar events, notes, checklists, images, stickers, and any other material you add to or import into PaperCal. You retain ownership of Your Content.
You're solely responsible for Your Content — including anything you create, upload, or import from a connected Google account — and for making sure you have the right to use and import it. Don't add or import content that infringes someone else's rights or breaks the law.
Google Services
If you connect your Google account, PaperCal reads your Google Calendar and/or Google Tasks on a read-only basis, as described in our Privacy Policy. Google Calendar and Google Tasks are third-party services owned and operated by Google, not by PaperCal.
Your use of Google's services is governed by Google's own terms and privacy policies, not by these Terms. Google controls the availability, features, and reliability of its own services, and PaperCal cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to them. PaperCal does not own, control, or take responsibility for your Google data — it's yours, held by Google, and simply displayed within the app when you choose to connect it.
Third-Party Services
The only third-party service PaperCal integrates with is Google (for Google Calendar and Google Tasks access). PaperCal may also rely on standard Apple system services — such as printing, sharing, and widgets — which are governed by Apple's own terms.
PDF / Printing
PaperCal generates printable documents from your calendar content. Actual printed results can vary based on factors outside PaperCal's control — including your printer, its drivers, the paper you use, your iOS version, and the print settings you choose. We don't promise a particular physical printing result in every environment.
Intellectual Property
PaperCal, its original software, design, and branding are owned by PrizmLabs and its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the app as intended, these Terms don't grant you any ownership interest in PaperCal itself. This doesn't affect your ownership of Your Content, described above, or Google's rights in its own services and data.
Acceptable Use
When using PaperCal, you agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the app or the services it connects to
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction
- Use the app to infringe or violate someone else's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
Availability
PaperCal may be updated, modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time, in whole or in part, with or without notice. We aren't liable to you for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the app.
Disclaimer
PaperCal is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. We don't warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific requirements, or that any printed output will look identical to what's shown on screen.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PrizmLabs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or content, arising out of or related to your use of PaperCal, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold PrizmLabs harmless from reasonable claims, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of PaperCal or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Governing Law
PrizmLabs has not yet finalized the governing-law jurisdiction for these Terms. This section will be updated to name the applicable jurisdiction once that is confirmed.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time as PaperCal changes. If we make material changes, we'll update the “Last Updated” date above. Continuing to use PaperCal after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
